Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses

Nurse Educator Nomination Form

Our nomination criteria and form.

Nomination Criteria

The DAISY Nurse Educator Award was created to honor every nurse educator for their inspirational influence on the Nurses of today and tomorrow.   Clinical educators, nursing professional development (NPD) practitioners, and preceptors ensure that students, new graduates, and nurses transitioning into specialty practice are competent and confident in their skills. These educators also keep clinicians updated on evidence-based practice, system and unit changes and work with staff to improve patient and Caregiver experience. If you have been impacted by the teaching, mentoring and dedication of a Nurse Educator let us know!
