The Young Friends of ChristianaCare
The Young Friends of ChristianaCare is a group of high school students focused on leadership, philanthropy and health care to help fund programs that enhance the patient care experience. The Junior Board of ChristianaCare
The Junior Board of ChristianaCare is a not-for-profit corporation comprised of dedicated volunteers committed to community service and support of the health system. Its members give their time and talents, raising money through community outreach and by operating the gift shops in both hospitals. Their capstone event is the annual Medicine Ball fundraiser, which provides support for a variety of services and programs within ChristianaCare.
Friends of the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center
Founded in 2002, the Friends of the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center is a volunteer organization working in cooperation with the clinical staff of the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center to help fund programs that enhance the patient care experience, support cancer research, and provide public education on prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer. Special Events at ChristianaCare
Partnerships & Pairings
A President’s Reception featuring chef & sommelier selected food and wine pairings is held each May for distinguished philanthropic donors. The event is hosted by our President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Janice E. Nevin, M.D., MPH, to honor our donors for their partnership and generosity. Throughout the evening, donors will meet our leadership team and hear firsthand how their generosity has impacted the communities we serve.

ChristianaCare Golf
Whether you are a scratch golfer, or just enjoy playing, this exciting day of golf in May is held on the magnificent natural surroundings of the DuPont Country Club. The day includes 18 holes on DuPont or Nemours, lunch, dinner, gifts and prizes. Sponsorship opportunities are available upon request. Proceeds support The Fund for ChristianaCare.
Junior Board’s Medicine Ball
This unique shopping experience attracts more than 300 attendees by showcasing 30 vendors, while offering guests tastings, music and raffles. Look for more information about the 2020 event on Facebook. Support of this event will positively impact the lives of your neighbors in the city of Wilmington and surrounding areas.
Celebration of Hope/Evening of Hope
This signature yearly event raises funds in support of the programs at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute that enhance the patient care experience, support cancer research, and provide public education on prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer.
