Dr. Rolls is the surgical director for the Kidney Transplant Program. As a transplant surgeon, he meets with patients to determine if transplant is the right surgical option, performs surgery and manages the post-surgical care of each patient with the team. Dr. Rolls specializes in abdominal solid organ transplantation. He also provides surgical care of dialysis access for end-stage kidney disease patients, as well as general surgical care. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
He earned his medical degree at Columbia University, completed a residency in general surgery at Cornell Medical College/New York Hospital, and then returned to Columbia for his transplant surgery training. Prior to joining ChristianaCare, he served as a transplant surgeon in Detroit, Michigan.
