President, ChristianaCare Newark

Amy Marston, MBA, MPH, is the president of ChristianaCare’s Newark campus. In this role, she leads enterprise strategy to drive continuous improvements in quality, safety, clinical effectiveness, patient and caregiver experience, ensuring that patients receive the best care possible. She supervises campus operations (both clinical and non-clinical), financial performance and growth initiatives. The Newark campus includes more than 1,000 patient beds, the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute and Delaware’s only Level 1 trauma center.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Marston served as the campus executive director for ChristianaCare’s Cecil County campus, where she successfully guided strategy for the 108-bed Union Hospital. Under her leadership, the hospital achieved significant year-over-year improvement in quality and safety and earned the 2023 Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades. Ms. Marston has also worked as the Cecil County campus operations officer, corporate director of behavioral health and project manager.

Ms. Marston earned a Master of Business Administration from West Chester University, a Master of Public Health from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science from Temple University.
