The Magnet® designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center is the pre-eminent recognition for hospital systems in the United States.

ChristianaCare Health System was designated as a Magnet organization in 2010, 2015, and 2020 by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® and are now applying for redesignation.

Evidence Based Practice Immersion Series

The Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Immersion series is a virtual two session educational experience that offers an in-depth step-by-step walkthrough of the Johns Hopkins evidence-based practice (JHEBP) model, how to find and grade evidence to support practice change, and how to implement and sustain change in healthcare settings. Participants will gain confidence in developing PICOT questions, conducting literature searches, differentiating quantitative and qualitative research, and navigating manuscript publications.

Nurses, advanced practice providers, physicians, residents, allied health professionals, managers and interested staff who may be leading or participating in an EBP project.		Didactic, facilitated class discussion, small group activities, and application of key concepts and tools from the JHEBP model delivered virtually.
